Can Mora de Dalt offers views of the sea and the old nucleus of Sant Vicenç de Montalt, a quiet, pretty village 35 km from Barcelona. The hotel is the 15th-century house of a former vegetable-producing and stock-raising farmstead. Now, after restoration, it is a place to rest and enjoy the friendly treatment and attention to detail of the family that has lived in and loved this place for 18 generations. The house's centuries-old structure has therefore been respected, with its 11 charming rooms, all spacious and equipped with satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone and WiFi.
The house is laid out around a courtyard with great views. It leads to a Mediterranean garden laid out on three levels, with a sunny swimming pool and a rich variety of native plants and trees, such as jasmine and orange, lemon and almond trees. The hotel does not have its own restaurant at present but it does offer guests a picnic basket to enjoy by the pool or on the beach, and private dinners by arrangement.
An added value is the hotel's own contemporary art gallery, which will host four or five exhibitions during the summer months.
